Charlene Pulsonetti

Jemili • Image and Text

Charlene Pulsonetti was born in New York, but left behind the bagels and the Big Apple for San Diego sunshine. After graduating with her BFA from The Art Institute of Boston, she participated as Artist In Residence at Petrified Forest

National Park. This opportunity exposed her to the beauty of the southwest’s public lands and soon spent time in exploring Arizona and New Mexico in her ’97 Toyota Corolla “Sheila”. She is most comfortable on the road and on the trail with

watercolor and a sketchbook. Today, she enjoys drinking coffee, taking inspiration from the Anza Boreggo desert and occasionally teaching art to others.

You can see Charlene’s work at 2Create Gallery in Ramona, California. She has also shown at a number of group shows in California & New York, and her work can be found in the collections of the Boston Public Library, Gila Cliff

Dwellings National Park & Petrified Forest National Park.
